The Prospect Hill Lifestyle
Diamond Creek
Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Diamond Creek offers a relaxed way of life. An area rich with culture and history, the Diamond Creek region offers a truly special place to establish a home. Surrounded by both nature and amenity, residents here have the very best of both worlds.
Located in the Shire of Nillumbik, the region has long been highly regarded for its gentle undulating topography and native bushlands with a history dating back to the gold rush in the 1860's.
Post gold rush the area known for its orchards and farming operations booming after World War II as a retreat for Australian artists of the Heidelberg School.

The beauty of Diamond Creek is in the heart of the town, where platypus can be found splashing in the sparkling waters, an iron bridge dating back to 1898 still stands and extensive walking and cycling tracks can be enjoyed.
Diamond Creek Sports Centre
After two years of anticipation, the Diamond Creek community has been granted approval to build a $10million sports and recreation centre. Offering three basketball/netball courts, gymnastics facilities, mezzanine viewing areas, retractable seating for 900 people and a cafe, Diamond Creek is set to become the region's sporting hub.
The new facility will add further value to the local community and is another important addition to the array of activities and amenity offered to future 'Prospect Hill' residents.
